Official Synopsis, [1]

Fly to the Sun is the 21st episode of Season 4.

Plot[]

The cockroaches are scheming to get the food inside the fridge; Joey's plan is to blow it up from beneath with explosives so they can get in. Joey then places tons of explosives in the basement. Dee Dee and Marky are concerned that they're using too much, but Joey goes on with the plan. As soon as Oggy approaches the fridge, Joey blows up the explosives, causing the house to unexpectedly launch into space.

The cockroaches immediately enter the house to breathe as a section of the basement was ripped out during the launch, causing them to lose breath. Oggy is also surprised at what has happened. They immediately adapt to the situation however, as Oggy decides to take a bath while the water floats, and the cockroaches continue disrupting it as if nothing happened to the house. Meanwhile, their house starts to get closer to the sun, causing Oggy to feel hot.

Back at the surface, Jack notices what has happened, and devises a plan to bring him back to the surface. He starts by using a plunger and a rope, and launches it to reach Oggy's house. Oggy cheers, however, because Jack stole from Bob's clothesline, Bob notices and beats him up, while the rope doesn't make it and retracts before Oggy could reach it. Jack then uses a large magnet to attract the house back in, but this attracts all of the metals in space, and all of it lands on Bob's face. Then Jack uses a plane engine to launch himself into space, but it crashes onto Bob's house, shocking Bob who expected it to be a disaster for Jack only.

While the house continues to reach the sun, Oggy tries to drink orange juice to keep himself hydrated, but he notices the sun coming in his direction through the window. Oggy panics while the cockroaches aren't bothered and start sunbathing in front of the window. Oggy tries to cover all the windows, but the heat burns all of them; he is forced to use multiple fans to keep himself cool. The cockroaches are then seen roasting a hotdog under the heat.

Jack's last plan is to steal an aerospace rocket to get Oggy back to the surface. Jack immediately launches himself into space to get him. As the distance between the sun and the house narrows, the inside of the house starts burning, causing the cockroaches to scream and run to Oggy for safety. As all of them fear the worst, they hear a sound that indicates that help is here; Jack has arrived to save them. He grabs the house using a robotic arm and uses a pedal to withstand the sun's gravity field. As Jack keeps pedaling, they eventually get back to the surface, but the rocket lands on Bob's backyard; the nose of the rocket rings the doorbell, causing Bob's house to collapse. Jack is then arrested by police.

In prison, Oggy comes to visit Jack to give him oranges, but he brings in another guest, Bob, who is ready to beat Jack up for bothering him.

Trivia[]

  • One of the things Jack attracted with the magnet vehicle is the Death Star (albeit under construction) from the Star Wars franchise. In later broadcasts, the Death Star is star-shaped instead of its usual sphere appearance.
