A Touch of Genius

Oggy works in Jack’s carpet store. The cockroaches are looking for a flying carpet. While looking around for one, Oggy and the cockroaches find a genie instead! The genie is a true eccentric, eager to make the most of his new-found freedom!

A Touch of Genius is the thirty-first episode of Season 5. It takes place in the Persian Empire.

Plot[]

Episode starts: Joey was dreaming that he flies with a flock of storks using a carpet. He sees Oggy cleaning carpets and he thinks that one of a carpet can fly. Meanwhile, Oggy's carpet cleaning tool wears of and a carpet fell on him. He sees that the cockroaches find for a flying carpet so he starts a fight with the cockroaches. He uses a hammer rather than a swatter. He hits a lots of items including a lamp. From the lamp comes a jinn. Dee Dee says that the jinn can fulfil three wishes so the cockroaches asks the jinn for three wishes but the jinn says that Oggy made him come out and the jinn opens a TV showing the proof that Oggy took him out. In the video, it says that Oggy wiped his hammer on the lamp but Joey doesn't approve. Joey saw that he put his foot on the lamp and says the jinn that he put his foot on the lamp but the jinn says that he knows it but foot touches aren't accepted and only hand touches are accepted. Oggy had a first wish, a pillow and second wish, a new carpet cleaning tool which cleaned all the carpets. He had a third wish but the jinn took him and were wandering around the city. When the jinn went out with Oggy, Joey thought of putting the jinn in the lamp and wipe his hand to get the jinn giving him three wishes. In the city, the jinn played a flute making a man's carpets dance. The man saw Oggy dancing and thought that he made the carpets dance so he called a policeman and the policeman beat up Oggy. The jinn laughs and takes Oggy to a vegetable shop and the cockroaches followed him. The shopkeeper was telling about his shop's vegetables quality while the cockroaches tried to take the lamp but the jinn lifted his pants. The jinn tried to eat a raw olive but the shopkeeper asked him to pay 100 coins so the jinn fooled the shopkeeper that a pigeon was flying and ate one olive. The shopkeeper saw the jinn chewing the olive but the jinn blamed Oggy and shown a false proof. The jinn ate all the olives while the shopkeeper was scolding Oggy. How much the jinn ate the olives is that much no. of olives came out from Oggy's mouth so Oggy was beaten up and the jinn laughs at him. The cockroaches try to steal the lamp but squashed by the jinn. The jinn takes Oggy to the center of the city and shows some jokes like turning Oggy to a balloon toy. Oggy angrily walks off but he came out through an opposite door. Joey enters the jinn's pocket using some tricks where Marky and Dee Dee were involved. The jinn put one peanut (one groundnut in Indian version) on Oggy's nose. He made Oggy's nose to and elephant trunk and Oggy using the trunk eats the peanut (groundnut in Indian version) which shows a joke that nose can eat food. Now Oggy gets back his normal face and smiles. The jinn places a glass cup and enters an elevator. after reaching the final floor, the jinn jumps and swims in the glass cup. Joey attempts to take the cup and pour the jinn and water inside the lamp but fails because of Oggy. The glass tosses and the jinn comes back to his normal form and falls on Bob's palanquin bed. The wolf soldiers and Oggy saw this and the jinn gave flowers to Bob. The flower swallowed Bob but he was saved by the Wolves. The wolves searched for Oggy and the jinn. They both were caught but tossed themselves towards an area where Joey aimed the lamp but the two broke through some buildings. Oggy and the jinn runs away and the cockroaches chase them for putting the jinn in the lamp. In a wall with two gates, the wolves were searching for Oggy and the jinn so both trick them by opening the doors and going to the next door. They were chased by the wolves but they hide in a shop. They see a lamp so they accidentally enter in it without knowing that the cockroaches set up a trap for them. They both come to know that Joey has trapped them in the lamp. Back at Oggy's home, Joey wiped his hand on the lamp but Oggy came and so the jinn. The jinn threw the cockroaches on the new carpet cleaning tool and expelled them out as a punishment. The jinn asked Oggy for his third wish so Oggy was about to tell but he remembers the pranks done by the jinn so he forces the jinn to enter the lamp as his third wish which the jinn didn't like. After the jinn entered the lamp, Oggy threw the lamp in the trash can and went to buy a new carpet cleaning tool. At the other side, Joey was having fun with Marky and Dee Dee by flying with the storks using the jinn's gifted carpet cleaning tool as the flight. Episode ends.
